Model 1866 Winchesters such as this are getting very hard to come by. This gun is fresh to our website and as far as I know, has never been offered to the collecting fraternity. It is an untouched 1866 "Yellow Boy" as native Americans coined it due to its distinctive brass frame. This gun has a deep, rich, blue-brown patina to the barrel with King and Henry patent markings. It's an extremely early 1866 Winchester and in the 17XXX range. The frame is uncleaned, and the wood shows age and use but no abuse. A nice gun that is modestly priced.
