This 1863 Sharps Carbine is perfect example of an "in-the-black" artifact. not in super condition. Completely untouched and new cleaned, rubbed or enhanced in any fashion what-so-ever since it's period of practical use. Deep, rich brown patina to the metal parts, good action and saddle wear to the wood. This is a truly untouched example of a Civil War Carbine that was issued and carried, probably in the Civil War, Indian Wars and possibly after. A great little gun.
