COLT PATERSON REVOLVER CASE, BELT MODEL - Lot #4475

Gun icon Samuel Colt's first factory, the Patent Arms Company, manufactured roughly 2,350 revolving pistols between 1836 and 1842. As most collectors are aware, Paterson revolvers are of the rarest and most desirable of all collector firearms. If you have a great #2 Paterson Revolver, I doubt you'd find a better case in your lifetime. This is an original case for a Number 2, straight grip Belt Model Paterson Revolver with desirable, long 5 & 1/2" barrel. It is in simply excellent condition, inside and out. I have never seen a better condition case on the loose and that's why I latched on to this. I have been searching for the right gun but always look for other opportunities and recently found one, which is why this case is now on the market.
