This gun is actually a little tougher to find than the normal Colt Baby Dragoon. It is in the 12XXX range and these guns in the late Baby range were the first to have the Stagecoach Hold-up Scene around their cylinders. This only lasted for about 4,000 guns, making them twice as rare as the earlier Babys. This gun is functional and was probably in a deep patinia with some raised rust at one time. It was then cleaned by a rookie that didn't need to be quite so agressive in his efforts. The gun is now in a gray patina and the markings are a little light, but they are all present with some of the scene showing and generally good condition all around. The grips are actually very fine to excellent, retaining almost all their original varnish. It still needs a little TLC in terms of cleaning, but when you're done, you'll easily have a $2500 gun. I doubt you can beat the price on this gun.
