Blunderbuss Carbines can be found several times a year at auction, antique gun shows or from websites, but an original pistol is seldom seen. This is an extremely rare gun that is seldom seen on the market. It is a 100% original Flintlock Blunderbuss Pistol made by Thomas Richards of London and so marked on its lock-plate. The barrel is a nice, untouched brass patina with hallmark and proofing to its left breech. The wood is excellent. Richards can be found in the books, working from 1747 - 1779. A great and rare little gun.
