This is a fine and rare little pistol made by A. Jarre and is so marked. I have only seen a few of these show up and in every case save 2, I found them at auction. I doubt they ever saw any military use (although I suppose it's possible) and due to its architecture, you couldn't carry it easily concealed. However, one could easily remove the harmonica magazine and hide the guns in separate pockets. It would taken more than 5 seconds to get it ready for business. It has a 6-barrel Harmonica Style Magazine of prox 32 caliber, is almost 6" in total length and is of all iron construction save for its ebony grips. It retains traces of original fire-blue and otherwise shows a gray patina about its surfaces. Obviously, we seldom see them as production levels must have been extremely low. However, they certainly are interesting and if you like examples of unusual or curiosa arms, this is a great candidate.
