This is a good condition little Pettengill Pocket that retains generous amounts of original blue mixing with patina about its iron surfaces, maybe 20 - 25%. The balance is medium gray and light brown patina. The grips have a heavy amount of linseed oil or varnish that may have been added at a later date than that of its original and there's a small chip to the right front toe. The cylinder rotates and seats properly on pulling the trigger, but it backs up slightly after the hammer comes down on each nipple. It needs some adjustment that I do not do, nor do I know how. .
