This is a fine condition Rogers & Spencer, a step-child of Civil War guns as none were issued until April of 1865. Regardless, their issue is recorded and these were a very solid and accurate gun that is highly popular today with collectors and shooter alike. This example is extremely sharp and crisp and retains 90% + original finish over the entire gun, blue and case-colors, except for the barrel that has flaked. It is now a dark brown patina. It also has a chip repair to the right front grip panel that could be addressed and made about invisible. A very crisp gun.
