One of the highest quality and well-made guns manufactured during the Civil War Era, this gun was discontinued after about 250 were made due to a patent infringement on the Smith & Wesson systems. Being of a solid frame and precise machining, this gun put all others to shame in terms of its quality. This example is hands-down one of the best condition of its type and is basically in unfired condition, just some flaking to its blueing. All else is near mint. Please excuse the date on the photos as I am experimenting with a new camera.
