This is a very good condition, martially marked Colt 1861 Navy Revolver that was issued to Union Servicemen during the Civil War. It is fully sub-inspected to include the tiny initial "L" on the bottom of the right grip panel. cartouche shows only the slightest trace. All other sub-inspections are bold and clear as is the barrel address and other markings. The scene is light as is the case with all war period '61 Navys. The action is tight and the gun is in a light brown.gray patina. A very rare gun being US issue.
