This Metropolitan Navy is in generally crisp condition with very fine grips and most of its' "Battle of New Orleans" cylinder scene intact. The gun must have been in a brown patina at one time and then cleaned long ago. The action, edges and markings are all crisp and the gun is in a grey patina. It needs a little cleaning by an experienced hand and it'll be a very nice gun. These are most often considered secondary martials by collectors and are extremely popular due to their nearly identical look to the Colt Navy Revolver. We just took this back in trade with 5 or 6 other items, so this is the second time around for this one. It's priced in the "bargain" area.
