The pictures speak for this one. This is a beautiful Foot Officers sword, probably manufactured by Thomas Griswold & Co. of New Orleans. The leather grip is gorgeous and so near perfect that it looks like polished wood. The blade retains much of its original polish, and the scabbard is 100% complete with nearly perfect mounts and not a single crease or ding in the leather.
