This is a very fine condition Artillery Model Colt SSA that retains high amounts of original finish. Both the barrel and cylinder retain 98% original Military Style blue finish with just small areas of toning. There are generous amounts of case colors on both sides of the frame, but just slight areas of any vividness. The straps show about 50% blue. The metal surfaces are really fine and show only a very few small nicks and dings, almost unmentionable. The grips are excellent and original, but I can find no evidence of a cartouche on either side of the grips nor the usual small RAC on the grip bottom. This is a really nice condition gun with excellent markings, edges and action.
