EAGLEHEAD POMMEL OFFICERS SABER, MEXICAN WAR SWORD APPRAISER

Federal period Silver Eagle-hilt sword.
Silver hilts in the 1790 to 1820 period are found in a number of different styles and the larger or the more unusual that the eagle pommel is found in, the more desirable the sword becomes. This example is a Philadelphia style reminiscent of the Rowland sword in the shape of the carved ivory grip made to fit the hand. CLICK HERE FOR ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND INFORMATION

ORIGINAL CARVED POWDER HORN, FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR
This is a somewhat primative horn in that the carving was not done by a pro of the time, probably a beginner. The motif is classic F&I WAR and most likely carved by a British or Militia soldier. CLICK HERE FOR ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND INFORMATION

SILVER MOUNTED BRITISH OFFICERS PISTOLS
These guns are a matched pair manufactured by Freeman and they are outstanding. High art silver mounts are hallmarked in the late 1760 or early 1770 period but I can't recall the exact date off hand. CLICK HERE FOR ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND INFORMATION

SAUERBIER CAVALRY / STAFF OFFICERS SWORD
This sword is an old friend that has "come home to roost". It's unique combination of features including silver-plated pewter grip, silver-foiled scabbard, fire-blued and gold washed blade, etch presentation and history make it one of the rarest and most desirable of swords and possibly the rarest configuration of Sauerbier known to exist, even topping the famed Kilpatrick Cavalry Sabre of similar (but not as pretty) design. CIVIL WAR CAVALRY OFFICER'S SABRE BY SCHUYLER, HARTLEY AND GRAHAM
PRESENTED TO ROBERT COWDIN, BRIGADIER GENERAL AND COLONEL OF THE 1ST MASSACHUSETTES VOLUNTEER INFANTRY. This is a huge Cavalry Officers Wristbreaker with outstanding history. CLICK HERE FOR ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND INFORMATION

CONFEDERATE BOYLE, GAMBLE AND MACFEE SWORD.
Another great item out of my personal collection, it is the best example I and many other collectors have ever seen. The maker mark in the face of the guard is in near-perfect condition, the grip is excellent with a few tiny flakes to the leather surface and the blade shows much original brightness and virtually NO WEAR. REVOLUTIONARY WAR HORSEMANS SABRE.
This is a great, triple-fullered Rev War Horsemans Sabre with a virtually perfect grip & wrap and a massive blade with much of its original fire blue and purple tinted finish. This is the classic that everyone is looking for in Rev War and second only in popularity to the famed "Potter". CLICK HERE FOR ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND INFORMATION

Extremely important sabre with outstanding Patriotic Motifs, " LIBERTY AND INDEPENDENCE " in gold wash, 1" high on one side, FEDERAL EAGLE w/ E PLURIBUS UNUM OVER DATE "1783" ON THE REVERSE. POTTER REVOLUTIONARY WAR SABER
We're very pleased to be offering one of the rarest and most desirable items we have ever had the pleasure to find, an original Revolutionary War "Potter" Horseman's Sabre, one of only three known to exist with its complete leather scabbard. You can look at all the books and talk to all the collectors and so-called "experts" about Rev War edged weapons, but there is only one bonafide Rev- War sabre that we know was ordered by the Continental Congress and recorded as being there, and that is "The Potter".
